My wife would chop my head off if I did not have XM. She has a couple of Christian stations she likes and there are not any FM or AM stations that match what she can get on XM.
That, and along with the choice of classic, rock, country and the rest it is hard to pass up if you get a deal.
My delivery date was 3/3/15 so I still have a couple of weeks to wait before the one year date is here. I might have to detail the car and then eat some birthday cake off the hood to celebrate the occasion.
Fond memories of the thread....wonder what happened to a couple of the others from that build date who I haven't seen posting on the forum? Hope they are OK and enjoying their cars as much as I am.

Congrats on getting your TPW, that will be a nice combo! You might find a thread (or start one if one hasn't already been started) for others who have that same TPW and enjoy tracking everyone's build dates.

10mm started this thread last year to track our builds and I revived it as we just hit the one-year anniversary. This one set a record for number of pages I think!

Good luck with your delivery and enjoy that new Corvette!

BJ

I should mention that I posted in another thread about this thread to bjones7131 that he might spend some sleepless nights reading some of the posts in this thread. There is some good humor and my idea was it might help keep him entertained while waiting for his car.
Lets hope that history does not repeat itself this month and there are no weather delays for the guys waiting.

Coop - you are a good Ambassador for the 2/16/15 TPW Thread!

There are a lot of great themes and storylines in this thread to entertain those waiting on their cars to be built. Thanks for sending bjones7131 over for a visit.

Sure wish you and Sharon were going to join us at the Bash this year!

Default It's been 2 years

Hi everyone! Hope you are all doing fine! It's been 2 years since we finally got our cars and I was wondering if you are still loving your car like I do!

My LB is a DD (except for snow) and I have a little over 27.5K miles on it. Getting the 30K service done on Monday and a Borla cat delete X pipes installed at the same time! Should make the NPP sound a little more aggressive!

Also, did anyone do the Spring Mountain class? We went last March and had a blast!

Take care,

Pascal

Oh hell yes, Pascal! 33.800 miles and only time it has seen the shop was for the free oil changes. Best car I have ever owned...everyone loves it and I still get lots of comments about what a great car it is
Glad to hear that you are still happy with yours! The exhaust mods ought to sound great...best of luck. Coop

Glad to see those miles of smiles! Only non service related item on my car was the airbag recall! I have done mostly cosmetic mods on the car and the pipes will be the first engine related one!

Still loving mine!! Always gets compliments and also has only been in the shop for free oil changes. I'm only at 10,800 miles but they've all been fun.

Hard to believe it's been 2 years already! I remember having them activate my onstar so I could watch the truck bring it to the dealer on my phone lol!

Still loving mine. I have a little over 10K. No issues here except a few software updates. I attended the Spring Mountain October 2016 and really enjoyed it. I hope to make a few more Corvette events this year.

Great to see some of the gang checking in! How you doin Coop? Are you and Sharon coming to the Bash this year?

Beth and I are loving ours - only 7,085 miles, but everyone fun! Still remember the Museum Delivery like it was yesterday. We've been to two NCM Bash events (15 and 16), and I'm going again this year. I did Spring Mountain in February of 2016 and loved it. Also did Petit LeMans Corvette Corral last year, and have my tickets for this year already. Really enjoying following IMSA and Corvette Racing.

I have about 10,500 miles. What a great car. A lot has changed in the last 2 years though. Had a baby boy, and my wife and I are expecting a second baby later this year. The Corvette seems a little unpractical at this point, but I really love this car. Will probably keep it and get another vehicle with a backseat to drive the kids around with.

7,000 miles. Service includes 3 free oil changes (left one on the table), TSB replacement of roof latch pins and airbag recall. Hatch closing doesn't work so have to leave door open when closing hatch. A8 has an occasional cough, which doesn't seem like anything much.

Not a DD because I don't DD anywhere. Overall, I say my Z51 coupe is as advertised, which means great.

Congrats! Good luck with everything! Our youngest graduated from college last May, so we're now empty nesters! Few more years to go and hopefully no more work either!
