Don't have that issue here as temps are starting to creep up. It was cold, but clear this AM and we're expecting mid 70s later this week.

My understanding, is once the car has gone threw the quality control stations, the trucking company must move it within 10 working days. So mine was built on the 26th of Jan. It's cleared quality so it's has 10 days to be put on the train. Yours is coming by truck so your time delay is based on B/G to NJ.

Ernest_T, my C7 is also waiting for transport to Texas. Our Vettes should be on the same truck. You are about 5 hours North of me. So, you'll get yours first. Let me know if you hear when the truck is heading South bound.

5 hours north? That would put you almost in Mexico! I'll be sure to let you know if I hear something.

I've been told that with a little coaxing you can convince your dealer to help authorize early OnStar activation. Then you have to call OnStar and convince them too. A little complicated, but others have done it. Anyone here doing this?

Doesn't apply if there is a QC hold, which has happened with the A8 Z06s. Once BGAP ends the QC hold, Jackie Cooper will have 10 days to ship. And it's 10 days to leave the plant, not be on a train. The cars are trucked to a railhead and then may sit in the yard, waiting on a car carrier train.

BTW - my 01/26 car was finished on 01/23 and is still sitting there on hold.

Mine was finished last Thursday and I've requested an update in the customer service thread twice since then, but have not received a response yet.

Hello Everyone. I've been lurking since I ordered my Stingray on Small Business Saturday and finally joined the forum.

TPW 1/26 and I picked up from Dallas dealership on Feb. 3! This is my first Vette. I rented one on a business trip in Nov. and was hooked.

3LT Z51 Conv w/ magnetic ride
Shark Gray with adrenaline red

I thought I'd share with the TPW 1/26 group. It shipped on 1/28 and arrived at the dealer on 2/2.

Congratulations on your new Corvette, it looks awesome! That's a very fast delivery from BG.

My C7 Coupe was built on Jan. 22nd and was trucked up to Toledo, OH. As of Monday, it was bayed and waiting for a rail car.

Ernest_T, Customer Service and Online Chat referred me to my salesman. This morning, I received an email from my salesman. He explained that they are waiting on an 11 car load and he will have to call again tomorrow for an update.

My TPW was 1/26 but was built the previous week. The train arrived in Dallas on 1/30...was delivered to the dealership (courtesy delivery) on 1/31. After an excruciating wait over the weekend I was able to pick it up Monday morning (2/2).

Hope this helps!

I received the same answer from Chat. Your salesman can call Bowling Green and get an update. They are waiting for 11 cars to load up the truck. Truck buddies for life
