Default $35 Mirror Mount & $14 Mirror Tap

I was skeptical about fitment on the C7, but these worked great! I soldered the power wire to the red wire of the Onstar harness, however I'm sure taps would've worked fine. Parts found on Amazon

PerformancePackage Mirror Mount Radar Detector Bracket - Escort 9500ix, 8500x50, Solo S3, Redline

Mirror Wire Radar Detector Hardwire Power Cable - Beltronics RX65 STI GX65

How steady and solid is the mount on bumpy roads?

I am curious on the stability as well.

Also, is there any way to adjust it to sit higher (i.e closer to the mirror)? Looks like there may be some room to raise it.

I like the low cost, compared to some other options, but it appears to sit just a bit too low for my taste.

Default Steady as a rock

The mount is all metal and very sturdy, and yes it does adjust closer to the mirror.

I just use the suction cup mount that came with my V1 and it works great.
