Default Finally done....part 2....lots more pics

I posted this thread https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ally-done.html after completing my Z06 splitter and ACS Zero1 skirt install......many asked for more pics so went out at lunch and took a bunch. Hope they show well with the sun......and yes, I know she needs to be washed.

Looks great! How does the Carbon Flash match up with the existing paint?

Your car looks great, well done! I love the shark grey color ... just patiently waiting for my C7. Thanks for posting the additional pictures.

Hi Glen,

I ended up holding my breath and drilling small pilot holes into the rocker panel and then using the self-tapping screws you turned me on to. As far as the holes that are supposed to go underneath the car, they were all going into the frame, so I actually used the tape here as addition to the 5 screws already there. All fits good.

Thanks again for your time and info.

I may have lied when I said "Finally done".......the Z51 sway bar threads have me thinkin' real hard. I added them on my C5 and liked the improvement.

Default Tsg

All looking very nice.

The Z51 spoiler is TSG color since you selected the ZF1 option (Z51 wheels, Z51 spoiler). The splitter rockers are carbon flash and so I wondered it in the future you may follow the carbon flash color scheme and have the Z51 spoiler changed to carbon flash? Just wondering about your opinion as the spoiler looks good in either color.

Thanks.........I went back and forth, but on the TSG, I like the b ody color mirrors and spoiler. Think the carbon flash looks great if you go with black wheels, but that all was too much black for my taste.

I'm pretty happy with the set-up as it is and would do the same all over again.

Beautiful car and I really like the front splitter and the side skirts. Nice job on the install.

Thanks all for the compliments (especially themonk.....inside joke). And thanks to Glen E for his advice on mounting the skirts.....much appreciated. I would not have know about or how to do 90% of the stuff I did without this forum. It is great!!!!!

I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.......Kinda goin' for an understated aggressive look......that's why I chose not to go for the carbon flash mirrors / spoiler, black or chrome wheels, stinger stripe, or the Z06 skirts......all these items look great on other cars, I was just looking for a different look and it turned out just as I wanted.
