As an Editor of the site, I would have expected more integrity than shaming members on the front page for not agreeing with them:
"But somehow others — ahem, I’m looking at you, sjohnson2615, and your trolling “panties in a bunch” comment — think it’s no big deal. Perhaps he’d like to go write his username on the David?"
You could have just debated or commented like that here in the threads, instead of the upfront page.
Dealer Stickers are annoying. I don't argue that.... However, they're not akin to spray paint and they do come off w/o damage.

She looks amazing.
Whenever I buy a car, I always stipulate the dealer has to remove all their emblems from everywhere before I pay. And I want to check that the paint is clean underneath or it's up to them to fix it. If I wanted to advertise for you, I'd leave the dealer license plate frame on it.

If a dealer tried that sticker s#!t with my car, I'd tell him to shove the car up his ****. Hell, I tell them to take off the license plate frame with their name on it. It's all part of the negotiation when buying a car. My way or the highway! This isn't some rare Lambo where they only made 25 of them!
BTW, congrats on a beautiful car. I was just responding to CF's troll in my inbox.

I agree
Beautiful car. Mine is next to it. Lol. I have a Laguna blue Tintcoat on order but with transparent roof. Chrome Z51 wheels also. Anyway I also agree and my first comment before I sign for my '00 and now my '15 - I'm not accepting the car if it has a dealer sticker on it. I also don't want it butchered in the prep process when some 18 yr old kid covers it with swirl marks. I want to be there when it's unloaded and, if possible, when prepped. And it is not to be made available to the public to touch or sit in.

The old days still exist as far as drilling holes. In 2009 I purchased an '07 Mustang that had a metal emblem on the trunk that was put on with self tapping screws. Had the car not been "exactly" what I wanted I would have walked away. I asked the salesman who in their right mind does that and he had no answer for me. This was in Colorado so rust wasn't really an issue but I still saw it as damaging the vehicle.

Congrats on the new Corvette
That's the first C7 I've seen with stripes, looks great.
Here in Florida, I've always had white Corvettes, because of the heat, but that black monster is very, very nasty looking I dig it.
JMHO, but the white C7's have a few too many black trim pieces on them for my taste. Just sayin'.
I think all the moaning about those dealer stickers is overblown. Geez guys, he's going to spend so much time polishing that baby, why bitch about the 10 seconds it takes to pull that sticker off.
BUT, a note to dealers:
To many proud new owners of new, and used, cars, that ad you've stuck on it's tail is an insult. So maybe you might want to re-think that ugly little sticker, and where you put it. Perhaps a really nice, small, beautifully designed, multi-color, emblem might be acceptable to more people. And be careful where you put it. Maybe in the door jamb, (like at the factory delivery), or some other inconspicuous spot.
One of our BMW's has a quality metal license plate frame from Braman, the local dealer, with their name on top, and PALM BEACH on the bottom. Snob appeal, I confess to leaving it on.
A question to all you dealer sticker haters:
Are there any dealers that are so respected that you would leave their stickers on? How about that little Nickey Chevrolet badge on that old 427 Camaro? Or that cool little Yenko American flag badge on that vintage Chevelle, would you rip those off? ......I didn't think so.

I have to admit...I've never been the biggest fan of stripes on a car...but something about your set up It just looks right! I really dig that black with silver stripes with the grey interior!! Great combo! Beautiful!

when a dealer wants ad space on "any" of my cars or trucks then they need to ask. I ordered a brand new Z06 and already told the dealer I did not want any dealer advertisements. I thought I would save them the time of re-painting the back of my brand new corvette.
I was told by my dealer, they never put dealer ad stickers on Corvettes,
bought a new 2015 LTZ $60,000.00 duramax and guess what .....dealer sticker, they removed that before I removed any money from my wallet.
Any decent dealer would first ask if the could place an ad on your car. I bet they would not allow me to advertise my company in their showroom, just a hunch........

Man talk about a thread that went off topic!
To the OP,,BEAUTIFUL car!!!
I must admit that forking out the money that it takes to buy one of these beauties I would NOT be pleased if they plastered one on its tail. It would be stipulated in negotiations. Now if they wanted to give me another $10K,,,,I might reconsider!!:cheers :

Congratulations You have a beautiful ride.
I know the pic's don't do it justice. I was passed on the freeway by a Black C7 with the Silver Stripes and it was Stunning. I was really surprised at how rich it looked.
The two Brunette's in it weren't bad either.
Enjoy your ride home.

Congrats!!! It is a very nice car and one of 26 available there at that time. I sat in yours on Dec. 15 just before we ordered our Blade Silver Metallic 3LT Coupe, Z51 Appearance Package w/ Cyber Gray full dual racing stripes. One of our first order request was "NO ADVERTISEMENT ANY WHERE ON VEHICLE". We have never had any problems with this request from any of our previous dealerships when ordering. BTW, our Order No. is SGTS4R and the Target Production Week given to us is 4-16-15.
