Installed my Z51 Sway Bar kit and I now have problems!
I installed the Z51 sway bar kit today and noticed when I took it off the jacks.....the front end was real high. Took the car around the block and it is making terrible popping noises. Have no idea whats wrong! Everything was torqued to specs front and rear!

Did you tighten all bolts with the wheels on the ground? Suspension my need to be loaded.

Careful... You're going to start a new trend with the after-market crowd!

No, loosen all the bolts, especially the bushing bolts, with the wheels on the ground, then torque them down. The car should sit at the same height it did before you added the sway bars. Be careful, when you loosen the bolts, it will probably drop several inches. I would put the wheels on blocks, then do the loosening/re-torquing.

Don't get under it without ramps or a lift though. It will fall when you loosen the bar.
To do this correctly
1. Jack up the car and loosen the bar, then lower the car
2. Drive up some ramps or use a wheel based lift then torque the bar.
You could also use some suspension holder bar things with a jack but it will be hard to eyeball the height right.

The previous poster already NAILED it. It is obvious that you have installed the front sway bar upside down.
Yes it is possible to do that in the front. And yes you can torque the bolts down while in the upside down position. The wrong bar location is preventing the suspension from moving correctly. Check it out......you will see the bar is jammed against a suspension hard point. No big deal. Remove and replace the front bar right side up.
It is actually easier to put the front bar in the correct way as less angling of the bar is required to get it installed amid the other suspension parts.

I loosened everything and it is still way up there!
