Seagulls are the DEVIL!!!!
So we go to Costco, I of course park out in the "back 40", no cars around and I come out to THIS!!!! Some seagulls will die because of this. Thank goodness I already had some cleanup spray and a microfiber rag in the the back of the car.
My first though was some Ahole had thrown something on the car.

Make sure you wash that off right away. Two days after purchasing a black Cadillac, a bird crapped on the rear quarter. I washed it off when I got home from work and needless to say, it stained the paint.

Seagulls in Greensboro? Didn't think they would come that far inland. Or maybe you are in Goldsboro, that is closer to the coast but still a bit far inland for seagulls.

IMO Bird droppings are worse than anything else; acid rain, tree sap, road tar, you name it. Grackles migrate through Dallas and their poop will etch the paint in nothing flat.

Be glad you did not have a convertible with the cloth top!

I feel your pain. Sold my immaculate 2007 Black Z06 last Spring to an out of town buyer. He fly into Minneapolis to take delivery. Had the car in Show quality condition and on the way to deliver it to his hotel Saturday morning. And BAM, the biggest Bird Shxt that ever fell out of the sky hit my car. Like the whole car, probably 300 hits. White Shxt every where. Must have been a flock of Pelicans that had a bad dinner. Well, he had already paid in full and went to the car wash before his drive home

Ain't that the truth!
Several years ago, I was in my '05 Vert and pulled up to a stop light next to a brand-new black Mustang convertible. While we were waiting for the light to turn green, a giant flock of Starlings flew over us and took a collective dump on the both of us. We just looked at each other, dumbfounded, and started laughing (it was that or cry). There must have been over 100 poops on each of us.
Needless to say, I drove straight to the nearest car wash to take care of it.

That sucks. Good thing you had something to clean the mess off the car right away.

Some Ahole did throw something on your car. A Seagull Ahole! You have to give them a lot of credit, their eyes are at one end, and their 'release point' is at the other end, and sometimes they seem to show uncanny accuracy. (Imagine what it cost's the government to duplicate that feat!)
Now that I've got your attention, I'm from Wyoming, and believe it or not we not only have Seagulls out here, we also have Pelican's! (Seagull poop is bad, but it doesn't hold a torch to Pelican poop.)
Do you have any idea what the white stuff in 'BIRD POOP' is? That's 'BIRD POOP' too!

I had a flock of Geese fly over the house last year when I still had the C6 convertible and they **** all over the rag top and the trunk. Thank God I put the top up that day. Never thought of taking a picture. It was quite a mess.
