Default C7 Corvette-Turned-Snowmobile Tackles Winter With Automobile Magazine

We've come across a lot of photos of the C7, but few do a better job of capturing the fun a Corvette can have in the kind of winter we've had this year.

Back in 1966 when I bought my first car ('66 Chevelle SS-396), I never gave it a second thought about driving it in the winter. It seems like all cars were "daily drivers" back then. Pic of the of the Chicago, Jan '67 historic snow storm when I couldn't make it to my garage that night. NOW, if there's the slightest hint of even rain in the forecast, the Vette stays in the garage!! Must be an age thing...

there you go on the tire controversy ...I did the same thing, but with Pirelli winter tires....had a blast all winter...car got dirty and salty but it cleaned up perfectly when the weather got better.

Bet you wish you still had the Chevelle.
