It looks as terrible on the C5 as it does on the C7. I agree with the Camaro remarks both in this post and the Corvetteblogger one.

That just looks wrong. You take a car with no sharp lines and add a rear with lots of them. YUCK!!!

This sort of thing happens almost every generational change. Guys will get wheels from the next generation, badges, "C6 wide body kits," whatever. This one is kind of funny though, since some of the C5 guys are continually making fun of the rear tail lights on the C7.

Not my thing, but to each his own.
