Default Corvette Z06 Battles Shelby GT500 and Hellcat in Rev-Off

There’s nothing better than a good 'ol friendly rev-off, especially when it’s a new Corvette Z06 battling a pair of American foes.

Best sound goes to the HC... hands down the best sounding car from the factory IMO.....

Dodge always seems to put better/deeper/louder factory exhaust- if you look at the trucks, a hemi dodge sounds like, well, a V8 truck. The ford egoboost sounds like a vacuum cleaner stuck on a hairball, the 6.2 raptor sounds like a an old 5.0 mustang bellowing through a long hollow tube, and the gmc/Chevy trucks sound like.....well they sound like nothing, literally no sound or tone just wind noise (amazing how they can tone down the LT1 to that extent)

It's really hard to gauge from a video like this, it definitely seems like the Z06 has more of a higher pitched exotic wail, the mustang has the burble and will probably burp and belch a bit w/ a catback, and the hellcat has a very deep ballsy rumble.

I imagine with full length 1-7/8" headers, vararam/honker intake, and a Corsa the C7 Z will absolutely SCREAM, but the gm motors never seem to have as deep a tone as the ford or dodge

Yes I know what you mean about Dodges sound...I own a 14 Ram 4x4 with the Hemi and I tried all 3 before I bought it and you're spot on the Chev being very quiet the Ford sounds like crap IMO and the Dodge a nice rumble...even back in the day the Dodge Charger..Cuda..Challenger..Road Runner and so on had a nicer rumble than the other brands for some reason.

One of the best sounding exhausts from the factory I had was the 03 Mach1...the best sounding car engine/SC'r sound I ever had was my 04 Termi.....the Vettes sounded awesome too but not like those two..I must say my ZR1 at full throttle don't sound bad either but way to quiet at idle.

The ZR1 is quiet at idle but it still has that 'Don't f**k with me' tone about it.

yeah I have a '14 GMC Sierra and added a flowmaster catback w/ dual side exit pipes and a 50 series muffler, no drone w/ the AFM on, but night and day from stock - this actually makes the truck sound like it has some *****

Love the sound of the ZO6 and the Hellcat.

The mustang... it sounds like someone turned the mute button on.. damn shame cause a 5.0 DOHC V8 should sound flat out badass. Too much sound deadening in those mufflers Ford!

With the Corsa X Pipe, the Z would match the HC, IMO

The Hellcat sure has that throaty Mopar sound. The Mustang seems muffled in comparison. The C7 sounds more like a supercar is supposed to sound. Close your eyes and you can "almost" picture and Italian legend.

Hands down the Hellcat sounds best for all stock components.

My Hellcat sounds like a stock car, it really is the best sounding factory car I've owned. Its not too loud in the car either, but standing 20' behind it and it's music to your ears. Z06 sounds good, but even my Escalade has a little louder note at idle.
