'14 C7 Auto Tilt Outside Mirror Issue
Thankfully the C7 has the rearview mirror tilt when putting into reverse function.... I turned it on, now I notice the cars mirrors will tilt down when in reverse, however they don't go all the way back to their original spot... Am I missing something?!?
The car is a manual transmission.

Do you have the "original spot" for the mirrors set in your memory settings.

I indeed did. Set both driver 1 & 2 the exact same to ensure that isn't it.
I even turned the driver side one off through the settings menu and I'm sure that one still moves.

Ok.....well I have a 2015.....and was told about this feature, but I thought it was automatic....and although I have backed in a few places, my mirrors didn't tilt....I didn't know I needed to go in and select anything.
well with that in mind, can anyone tell me which menu I need to get to, to select/activate this feature??
EDIT:......FOUND IT! I forgot I had the manual on my computer here at work..... DUH! LOL

Well, this is a non-issue for me since I have to fold my mirrors before pulling into my garage and have to pull out before I can unfold them...
Its a real pain in the ***, especially if its raining!!!!
What really would have been nice is automatic fold in and out mirrors as on many other lux cars, I realize this is a sports car, but it has so many other electronic gizmos this one would have been nice to have....

This is something that I will say annoys me. My 11' GS didn't even have it, now my 14 doesn't work right... Come on! My 2007 Acura TL had it and it worked perfect, great feature for when you parallel park.
just surprised GM would do such a ****** job on something so old tech.. Car otherwise is AMAZING!

Well, technically it may be working as designed... Didn't matter enough for me to determine whether it is just the way it is designed, and that it doesn't function the way that I expected it to.
I have the feature on my '05 Tahoe and use it all the time, and expected this to function the same way. It didn't. Not a big deal, with the backup camera in place, and it is far more important to have the side mirrors properly aligned for normal driving.

Well, my issue is that would tilt down, but not return to the original driving position, especially noticeable on the passenger side mirror. So I just turned the feature off.
However, now the passenger mirror seems to "drift" down on its own. I have to keep adjusting it back up every time I drive. Guess its time for the dealer to take a look.
