Default This is really silly...

I know this is silly but this evening I got my first Corvette wave and happily returned the gesture to a fella in a really nice C6. It was a cool little reminder to myself that I'm driving this very cool, "new to me" car.

It put a big grin on my face.

Yes, great tradition and still in play (although some people just can get with the program).

I wave at every other owner I see. Most return the wave or do a thumbs up, Others stare at you like they got hit in the face with a fly swatter.

It just goes to prove that there are a lot of nice C6 drivers out there on the road. I don't see many C7's where I live, but when I do (any gen for that matter), I wave.

I remember my first one but probably for a different reason. It was from a drop-dead georgeous blonde in a white c6. The wave was nice, too.

I'm a first time owner as well. My first wave was a couple of weeks ago from a C1. I thought that was kind of special. Since then it's been non stop waving when I see a Vette.

You got me!? I know I see the bikers do it all the time, Harley or not. I guess it's a community thing.

Since that first one I passed more vettes today, no waves. Oh well. lol.

I've been driven Vettes for 35 years, sometimes I get a responsive wave sometimes I don't. Just wave, that way you did your part.

Jeep (USA) and Mini Cooper (Oxford England) drivers do the wave thingie too as I understand. Guess it's those "slightly out of the main stream" car buyers/drivers than acknowledge one another.
