Will there be a price increase for the 2016 C7?

I've attended the bash every year since 2010. Some years they've announced pricing at the event, other years they haven't. It's really anyone's guess whether or not they will this year.
I would guess that the 2016 will be introduced at the existing market pricing. But that there will be a slight increase after a few months. Something like $1000 on verts and maybe a bit less on coupes.

I'm not exactly sure of the history of the C7 pricing. It debuted at about $51,000 (wow) and now sits at $55,000 for a base coupe. I think I remember the 2015 models debuting with no increase for the base coupe but something like $1000 for the Z51 coupe.

They raised the Z51 mid-year and again in 2015 from the $2800 I paid in October 2013! Perhaps that will stop folks who really don’t need it from buying so we have less complaints about the performance tires, the need to use a watch to check the oil level, the extra brake dust and the fact that the preformance oriented, larger tires cause more cold weather chatter and that they refuse to turn the wheels less sharp and use a "K" when cold and making slow speed maneuvers!

I definitely expect an increase at some point. I'm just hoping it happens after my allocation which should be very soon.
