Default C7 Corvette Fuel Pump Problems During Automobile Mag Test Drive

What’s worse for Chevrolet than having a fuel pump go out on a C7? Well, having a fuel pump go bad twice on a C7 being driven as a test car for a national auto magazine like Automobile.

You chose a misleading quote. Their last sentence is: "Automobile learned that the mechanics who first worked on the fuel pump did not replace the power control module as they should have, which means it really didn’t actually go bad twice."

It's the lesser of the two evils probably... either have it look like there's a problem with the Fuel Pumps or with Chevy dealerships lying to customers about warranty repairs. Possibly warranty fraud. I think he chose the lesser evil.

I'm trying to understand if this is the "if it bleeds, it leads" type of editing/journalism what with all the crashes of Corvettes making the front page of CF. Is it? That is an axiom of some forms of media, but somehow I don't think it is true for Corvette Forum. Am I mistaken?

Every week, something on some car breaks, and it is embarrassing. Are we going to have weekly lead-items with what was the broken part of the week? Or crash? just asking the questions. Inquiring minds want to know....
