Depends on which fluid condition you're suggesting.

I think they did the spice red because they also added convertible top in a similar color so you could do triple dark red verts like the 40th anniversary editions only a little brighter shade of dark red.

That would look horrible.

I was nervous about ordering a CRT '15. I wanted a Magnetic Red II (like my C5) or the Monterrey Red...and thought the GM Color God would go back to those very popular colors for the 2016s.... Welllll, it appears he/she didn't....

Although I haven't seen the "new" red colors in person, I'm glad I didn't wait for the '16.

Also, here is the red color pallet for the C5 and early C6 back then. Interesting to see how this new red will fit in. Love my LB C7, no impending controversy for me this time.

Just like my '05 C6 with the 'smokey' polished wheels.
Basically, Dave Hill and his team decided not to use Torch Red, a majority of customers were vocal about P.Red not being as bright so GM changed it to Victory Red to try and make them happy ... which resulted in more complaints and people calling them out for using a red that is offered across numerous other cars such as the Cobalt. Torch was brought back and has stayed ever since.

Is Laguna Blue with Adrenaline Red still going to require an overide?

I'm excited about the new red, I've always loved the metallic red colors and I think this one is going to be a hit. I've seen this color in person in the past week on a lot of Cruzes and Buicks and I really like it in the bright sun. I'm not quite as fond of it on a cloudy day, but then again I feel the same way about my LeMans Blue C6, it really needs the bright sun to come alive. Lucky for me I tend to drive my Corvettes only on bright sunny days

I really hope they have a Long Beach Red C7 at the bash this year and my hope is that it also has one of the two tone interiors too! I loved the two tone interior on the C6, for me the black/grey combo is killer!

Ok, in 2014-2015 it was Velocity Yellow...

2016 it's Racing Yellow...

How about Minion Yellow next? (someone with Photo Shop ability could have a field day with this)

Maybe someone at the Bash could ask Tadge?

Anyone know if the 2 tone gray will have black carpet? So black carpet, black seat, with gray inserts?

I like the new red and blue interior options.....variety is good. White with either one would work.

Thanks for the info, Rick. Can't say I'm a fan of the spice red interior color.

Another year of playing it safe with the palette. Heaven forbid they do one crazy color like:

- Lambo orange (orange + yellow metallic tintcoat)
- Purple metallic
- Lime green metallic
- Flat Baby blue
- Aqua metallic

Do they think they'll give their customers heart attacks?

They probably think they won't sell enough of any of those colors to make it profitable.

How would you like to be the one cool guy on the design committee pushing for ONE great color, only to be over ruled by the other 6 seventy year old guys pushing for "burgundy" ?

I'll have to see the Long beach red in person before I comment (btw, what red are they referring to in Long Beach?). However, that spice red interior looks awful to me. It looks just like Kalahari red comparing the samples. Spice red is just another Brown-red, as if we needed another one.

Will the dark gray interior be on all vettes or only the Z06. I think the dark gray will look great with NRB and CG stripes.
