Hey Pugproud, you appear to have a great perspective on things as most people panned your wheel yet you took it in good spirits. Kudos and enjoy your new wheel and boot-they look fine and probably feel great.

Thank you for your kind words. I may look my age (70) when I look in the mirror but I'm still 17 years old inside. "Le Coeur n'a pas de rides"...THE HEART HAS NO WRINKLES!

It is official. Flat bottom steering wheel will be standard equipment of the 2016 Stingrays.

PUGPROUD:

May I suggest that you consider spraying the alcantra wheel with a Fabric Guard like 303 Aerospace Fabric Guard.

This will protect the wheel from oil, dirt and sweat from your hands. Over a period of the time the soft alcantra/suede will begin to show signs of soiling from the oil that your skin produces, dirt and sweat that is on your hands.

Nice wheel. I had one of Sergio's wheels on my C5 with Alcantara. It feels great but will always look a little "dirty". Clean it with a very mild soap and water and it will look great for a long time.

Squared off bottom, squared off top... jeeze, these after-market companies should just go ahead and make square steering wheels and get it over with!

It's just a matter of taste. It's your money and your car. Who really cares what other people think? Mod your car and enjoy the ride.

I just do not understand the steering wheel issue. Can't figure out what the big deal is with the "D" wheel. Guess I am just too damned old.
