Default Prom Night 2015 - Round 2

Nephew #2 enjoyed the NRB vert last night going to his Prom. Another Prom with zero problems and a lot of smiles and great memories for everyone. This is his Junior year so he has one more to go. More nephews left (and maybe nieces too!) as they hit their high school years to do the same.

I know a lot of you this this is insane, but I firmly believe that given the right kid and understanding the responsibility on all sides (his and mine) there will be good results.

Back when I owned my 1999 Plymouth Prowler, my sons enjoyed not only on their Prom nights, but about any time they cared to drive it.

As mentioned in the other thread you started, you are a very generous Uncle who gets joy and satisfaction letting your nephews, and other family members use your Corvette.
As the saying goes different strokes for different folks.

Wow, that is really awesome of you to let them use your car. You believing that they are responsible enough and trust them to use the car really has to give them a great feeling, and I sure they respect you and your car

You're a great uncle, and I am sure the family members love you.

The Prowler looks great, but the "castle" you live in looks even better and is totally awesome.

You're a great uncle who understands that your family is more important than a car!

When I attended my high school senior prom, my uncle let me drive his prized 1969 Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV. I absolutely loved that car...so much so that I bought one just like it when I was stationed in Gemany in 1976. I sure do wish I still had that car!

My son took mine to his senior prom a couple weeks ago..did not hesitate at all. I'm sure it will be a memory he will never forget.

Great pictures. I'm sure you had every confidence that they were responsible young people before you let them take your car. We had five kids and we would have been comfortable letting four of them take the car for prom. The fifth one not so much! Of course, back then we couldn't afford a Corvette.

Great photos and wonderful memories for all!
Off topic, but I have always wondered how that Prowler was to drive.
Can you give me a little insight?
