Protection on Stripes?

Default Protection on Stripes?
We had the stinger stripe installed on our torch red coupe yesterday. Looks great, but not having any kind of non-painted on stripes on a car before, is there any special treatment for it? Do I avoid wax/sealer on it?

Avoid polish, just wash clean and use your favorite sealer/wax. I opti- coated my stinger after an alcohol wash to strip it clean.

I just wax my stripes as I do the rest of the car.
