Default Facebook Fridays: Is This C7 Corvette Good, Bad, or Ugly?

Is it the body kit, the wheels, that red and black color scheme, or a or a combination of everything? Whatever it is, we're a little uncertain about this C7.

The wheels along with being slammed are the nails in the coffin.

I might be able to tolerate the rest if not for those two things.

But IMO that looks completely photoshopped.

The wheels are hideous, not to mention very impractical. Such low profile tires would spell disaster for the rims if the car gets driven.

I kind of like the front end treatment.

The only thing that really bothers me about it are the wheels. And that it's sitting so low you couldn't really drive it on most public roads. I prefer the stock front fascia, but that one isn't too bad. Stripes aren't my thing, but that stripe is OK. If you had asked me, sight unseen, about doing the bar in the grill in red, I would have said "No way!" but I actually think that works.

I've seen far worse things done to Stingrays.

Not my taste but if the owner likes it, that is what matter.

I love it! Pushes the boundaries and imagination. I think it's well thought out and executed. From a design standpoint of getting everything to fit, wheels spaced out properly and time spent for paint, I think a lot of planning went into it.

Just curious, who is the "we" you're referring to? Is it your personal opinion, your official position as a "CorvetteForum Editor," or is it IB's position now to badmouth Corvettes that are different?

In any case it looks photoshopped and not real.

Don't like the wheels.
The rest is OK.

Might be amusing (or scary) to see how the back end looks....

Also, check out the rear brake cooling scoop; looks tacked on....

You literally wouldn't be able to drive that around here. It would last maybe 10 mi before you trashed a wheel or splitter. Form over function.

I would drive that, if it was a Z06. It's trick!
