Rail car - order tracking help
Hey guys,
Trying to understand what this update actually means, any help would be appreciated!
Tracking my order via CSX.
- On Saturday June 13th, it said it arrived at Mira Loma
The latest update is:
CAR ETTX (number) empty, departed - thermal CA, on June 15, 6pm and has no ETA
Thermal CA is approx 2 hours from the dealer.
Is this still on the train or on a truck?
What next steps have you experienced after Mira Loma?
Thanks!

Mira Loma is a transfer point where it will go the final leg by truck.

So when the update says empty - am I basically tracking an empty rail car ?
Because, that shiz is going in the wrong direction
Now the update says:
Iris Ca, 7:28pm
That's nearly an hour further away from the dealer than the prior location.

Didja ever think that if your car was on that railcar and that railcar is now empty, your car is no longer on it?

Yes, you are now tracking an empty rail car.

I know there has been several folks on here saying that their car was stuck in Mira Loma for 'x' amount of days without moving.. . How did they know that - 'on star' or other tracking method?
Any way to track progress post Mira Loma (outside of on star) ?

Yea, that's logical - but wasn't entirely sure that the tracking system ended there or transitioned to the truck transport stops.

(don't feel bad. It took over 5 weeks for my C7 to make it from BG to my dealer near Spokane, WA)
