One thing I am more interested in, and also unsure of...Is the Android support shipping or something that has to be updated to at a later date?

GM has already stated it's coming as an update at a later date.

Cool, thanks for posting! Mine will be the 68th one (at least of the Stingrays). The next few weeks are going to be a long wait.

Sweet, but it's "shining", not "shinning".

Good...

So I guess that all MY2016 Z06s will get it?

My car should theoretically be built in July...

I really hope they do an update for existing cars....but I doubt it. That would be a great feature to have in my '14

What Happens when Apple updates car play in a couple years and it no longer connects and GM doesn't support the update? You know its going to happen.

It's not going to be updateable in '14 or '15 cars because it requires new hardware.

Why would this ever happen? The only obsolescence possible is based on the phone model you are connecting to it. Right now iPhone 5 or newer are required. I don't see this as a concern at all.

GM has said the 2016 Corvette will have it. This Z06 was a '16 so it's perfectly feasible that all cars built after it (the rest of the '16's) will arrive with it too.
