Spoils the looks of the car in my opinion. It draws my eyes right to hook. You want the attention drawn to the car, and not the wart. Hook in this case.

I used to leave mine in all the time, because I track mine 3 or 4 times a month. However, someone on this forum brought up a good point. In the event of an accident, especially one that involves wrongful death, the opposing lawyers and insurance company will do everything they can to not pay out. That includes proving your vehicle modifications caused more damage than it would have stock. I was involved in an 8 hour deposition dealing with similar issues... IT WILL COME UP.
Did it happen to me? Yes
Will it happen to you? Probably not.
But are you willing to bet your house, and kids futures on it?
