This would really need specific clarification, please:

1) bids to which dealers?

2) can you spec out the exact options you desired for a custom build, or was this a bid on forthcoming inventory already ordered by the dealer?

That's great if you actually end up with a car in your driveway (in the near future) out of one of these deals. I'd be surprised if a deal like that could be closed on a Z06 at this time, but eventually it's gonna happen.

Send us pictures and the specs on your new Z06's when you pick them up. We'll all wait anxiously to learn more about the HUGE price drop.

20K off MSRP for a new Z06 is nothing-my small local dealer wants to sell me one at 30K off MSRP with a free hi def TV. I told him no because I'm holding out for the complimentary pass to the local Dunkin Donuts.

You all got ripped off. I just bought a new Vizo 60 inch HD TV and they threw in a new Z06 for free.

Instead of everyone being smart-asses, maybe you should give the OP a chance to explain what he found

I'm going to be in the market for a C7 soon, and if there are indeed deals to be made I'd definitely like to be aware of them

Really? Guys and gals, give the OP some credit. eBay has several car dealers that use the site to broaden their market. The Z06 with the A8 has proven to be a joke on the track and is quickly losing its appeal to the high end enthusiast. With the over heating issues happening on the street in higher daytime temps word is spreading fast that the car is not what GM/Chevy said it was. Manual tranny might be OK for street driving and dealers are looking to get rid of stock. It is very likely that some Z06's are going to get dumped. And, even at $6,000 off the dealer is still making money.

I believe you. With close to 9,000 2015's built, they are not rare, and they are a year old, even with 2 miles on the odometer and a MSO.

All I'll say is buyer beware. I just looked at Ebay Motors and there are a total of 15 2015 Z06s with automatic trans. One even has the rate 4LT Premium Package!

The interesting thing is that many of them didn't show the MSRP which is not only very illegal, but really shady.

I'm personally holding out for the 5LZ package on the Z06, which includes the two-tone, sueded leather wrapped front splitter!

C'mon Ebay!
