I dont disagree with you.

Personally I take my sidearm with me everywhere I go unless I am legally not allowed to do so.

I have yet to go to a service center that has signs posted saying concealed carry is not allowed so I would not have left my sidearm in the car.

Thanks.
I have a Glock G42 slimline .380 and a custom leather IWB holster. Between the size and light weight of the pistol and the comfort of the holster it's easy and comfortable for me to carry in the car or most anywhere else and with most types of clothing.

Actually no they don't. Only drug dealers do pretty much and they generally stick to gang vs gang crime.

If it was me I would be back up there as soon as I found out
Firearm theft is a felony. you are required to report it as soon as u found out.
file a report. if who ever stole it used it in a crime and gave it back there could be some serious questions asked. I have my serial numbers and pictures of all my firearms and I keep very good track of them.

I understand your firearm registration law worked out so well it was scrapped

Virtually NO one registered their guns and the cost of the program was
MANY times what your left wing government admitted at first

Actually all restricted and prohibited handguns are registered. It was only the Long Gun Registry that was done away with. In Canada you can transport your weapon only if secured in a lock box and with a trigger lock installed. Also it is only permitted to transport said weapon using a direct route to an approved shooting range.

This is how a law abiding citizen is required to do. I am only referring to Hand guns not long guns.

Oppositely speaking, if you are in your home you can virtually walk around naked with your loaded weapon and in past events the Castle Process has won in a court of law which gives you the right to protect a threat of life or limb. In short we can use deadly force up here in Canada and I for one will apologize over the perps dead body.

Now can we return to the actual subject of the Valet system not being a secure system.

There are lock boxes w/ cables that attach to your seat. Part of responsible gun ownership is to take a reasonable precaution when leaving it behind.

I would never ever leave a weapon unattended in a vehicle unless it was locked in such a box. The guy that did admits his mistake and is mentioning it to hopefully prevent others from making the same mistake. Kudos to him for that.

Police report submitted this morning. Nobody b****ed at me for doing it today. Investigator will be calling me and speaking to anyone (in person) that touched my car. Service manager engaged the service director. They say they will be reviewing tapes. I will press charges if caught. PDRs are still being reviewed but I don't expect to find anything

Thanks for all the positive feedback and suggestions.

Hopefully they'll have some luck finding whoever took it. Good luck!

Drama ensues. PDR had a lot more info about what happened to my car after it was picked up.

Stay tuned...
