Does it drain the battery if the car isn't driven?

No - it is a passive device.

I had one on my c6, and it also recorded max speed and rpm. Does the c7 version also do this?

Here is a longer explanation but not of the install since that is straight forward but why it's needed if you have an air tight C7 where the hatch doesn't latch:http://netwelding.com/Latch_Hatch.pdf

Do both the drivers side window and passenger side window open and close remotely or just the drivers side window?

I received mine recently and do love the thing, so don't get me wrong. But I will say, at least on my car, the vent option barely opens any airway at all. The windows come down about .5"-1", and at that height they barely clear the weather stripping. Needless to say, its a VERY conservative vent.

A good mode for trunk closing though
