Honest opinions on this (rear) license plate frame
Certainly unique, I like that it is in carbon flash as will be the skirts and front splitter. The lines seem to match the C7 style. Is it to over-done, of to exotic looking? Thinking of this one vs. a standard c/f frame. Car will be a 2016 Z51 in blade silver with stinger hood and c/f spoiler/mirrors. and EYT badge chrome bumper strip delete.
Since you asked for honest opinions, I think it looks pretty lame. I wouldn't put it on my car if someone paid me.
On a completely different note, I've been trying to figure out your forum user name. Is it that you own two Harleys and two Corvettes? What's confusing is the apostrophe after "HD".

2 Harley Davidsons 2 Vettes
Apostrophe seems to be there because it's plural, similar to when people use C7's. I don't think it's gramatically correct, but that's the usage.

It's interesting because both are plural (Harley Davidsons and Vettes) but the apostrophe was only used once. I'm amazed at how often apostrophes are misused in plurals.

Well - that's pretty much unanimous on opinions on that license plate frame Thanks for the input. I was thinking it was a little too much Magnum PI looking myself, but I wanted some other thoughts.
Yes - 2 Harley Davidsons and 2 corvettes, C6 Z51 vert. and a 383 stroker C3 in peacock blue. Soon to be a blade silver and a C7 z51 coupe!!
On user name - my mistake, likely not grammatically correct (although you misspelled grammatically ) Hey - I have a GED education (honestly) When I passed the test I came home all proud - my dad said "what an accomplishment, you can't even spell GED" He was a funny guy!!

Lol. Touche, you are correct sir.
If you really want to GRAMMATICALLY make your head spin, check out the rules for apostrophes:
On a side note, thankfully you were saved from that plate frame.
Like I said, it's easier for me to just be wrong and chalk it up to the GED education that's saved me quite often.
I remember your posts, as we were ordering 16's (there I go again) at about the same time. I think we also ordered the red/black two tone interior? I am still wondering how that will exactly arrive? I think as the one pictured in the preliminary brochure??
I just used a simple black frame where the plate is recessed and does not cover any part of the plate..(for Texas)
I hate the little tabs that show too.
