Let's see who is actually driving these things the way they are built to be driven?

Well just because you can drive 137 MPH (ON THE STREET) doesn't mean you should. How about if you at least make it a little bit easier on the Cop and the EMT or other 'FIRST RESPONDER' to arrive on the scene, and start carrying your DL, Reg. and Insurance papers in a ZIP LOCK BAG! It makes it much neater, (and FASTER TOO, YOU SEEM TO LIKE FAST) than digging thru 175 pounds of mangled meat and bones, (that used to be you) so the Cop can identify you, and notify your next of kin.

You are wasting your breath MeanDean43. His receiver is not receiving. I'll bet he is one of those sport bike riders with a death wish I see on the highway every day. You know, shower clogs, shorts, no helmet, with bare back showing and t-shirt up around his neck. Going at least 30-40 MPH over the limit weaving in and out of traffic without any regard for anyone or anything but his own cheap thrills.

I've certainly done a few crazy things in cars over the years but as I get older I started thinking more about my wife and son. I'd be dead so my pain is gone but their pain will last a lot longer. I've also seen too many vettes come into a local Corvette salvage yard stained with blood and mangled beyond belief.
Here are just 2 cars I saw come in. The first one the owner was decapitated and was all over the news when it occured in LI a few years ago. The second car had no data on it but can't imagine the driver survived....
No matter how good you think you are, sh*t happens dude.

Not sure how it's "meant to be driven." But I have almost 3,000 miles in less than 2 1/2 months. Not constantly driven hard, but I get into it once in a while, when in places it's safe to do so. Not going to hit triple digits on the public roads around here, though.

No I'm not a Zombie, just a retired Cop that got tired of scraping bits and pieces of what used to be people off of the highway. Out here in Wyoming we have lots of great roads to do something stupid on, either twisty's with a rock wall on one side and 1,000 feet of nothing on the other side, or miles and miles of straight roads. (Of course the really good one's are also miles and miles away from the nearest hospitals!)

Is saw one of these idiots on I81 on one wheel for the whole time he was in sight which was not long. I figure he had to be doing 120 on 1 wheel....guess it's "natural selection"

The way I look at it that natural selection(i think darwin is a tool) bs is going to take us all out it's just a matter of when. You can either live your life real safe and not have any kicks or push it and have alot kick and if you eat it at least you don't have to die a slow horrible death in a old folks home with a dirty diaper.

Hey I wear all my gear when i do stupid stuff on the highway now. My fastest standup 110 my fastest sitdown 130. Fastest going on the interstate at 3am 186 in my vette maybe 156(still waiting for a safe road to open it all the way up maybe that bipass around austin. . I feel safer going fast on a sportbike than I do in a car. I guess I know I can sweeze through just about any cagers mistake.
I just think it would be funny if you were like 70, riding a sport bike doing a wheel-stand at 110 mph
