Default AFM disable device battery drain?

In reading the brief instructions for the Range Active Fuel Management Disable Device it mentions unplugging it if the vehicle isn't being driven for more than a few days as some vehicles will experience battery drain. Does anyone know if that's the case with a C7? I'd rather not have to try to remember to unplug it. I've got CRS! Thanks for any info on this.

Yup 5 days will just about kill the batt, had one on my camaro, no problem pulling it...put in an ext cable so you don't muck up the OBD port from overuse....
