Front splitter scraping lowered C7
Full slam/stock bolts...unpainted GM poverty splitter.
4.5" center clearance...4" on trailing edges
I'm now used to the sound of occasional scraping...GM splitter flexes enough to avoid critical damage. Scraping occurs on steeper entrance approaches/departures. I use a dremel to shave the scaped bottom edge.
I've seen numerous/costly/rigid C7 splitters ruined by impact damage with finishes compromised by scraping/road grit.
Be aware that any splitter will eventually sustain damage.

I have a 15 z06/07 with stage 3 aero and have not had it lowered.
I have been driving the new generations since the c4...
Over 4000 miles on new z and zero scrapes. Just lots of thinking ahead...
And if there is justice in this world my smug attitude with be quickly rebuffed with a full on splitter catastrophe this weekend....; )
Btw in Canada these things are so rare your would never hear anyone say the wheel gaps are too big. They are too focused on the sweetness of the car itself.
It is like meeting Kate Upton in a bikini and noting the colour of her sandals...

Drifting
You've got to learn to take steep drives, dips and speed bumps on an angle to avoid scraping.
I've had an exposed CF splitter on my GS for a couple of years now, and also installed one on the wife's Stingray as soon as we got it home last year. Angles will keep them intact and avoid having to replace them often, especially when the car is slammed.
The C7 looks great!

So, you lowered your car(which is already low enough) and now your splitter scrapes. Oh my. Duh.
