On some trim levels black is standard, on others it costs the same $595. The base model, for example, comes with gray, and black costs extra. The Z51 comes with black, and gray costs extra.

The only color I would have considered paying extra for is DSOM, to match my car. But I probably wouldn't have been willing to pay $600.

I think the red calipers ARE torch red actually. I see no difference on my Torch Red Z51.

Maybe you mean Crystal Red.

So the torch red model with red calipers I saw at the dealership looked bad when it comes to paint match.

@Dupson picture of his red calipers and car looks pretty good.

Not sure must have been a different batch or something.
