I had a cover craft outdoor cover that I used indoors on my previous Z06 and it was really nice.
I love this new indoor stingray cover. It is stretched out easily, fitment is perfect and tight. Its like a 3mm wetsuit.

what type of material is in the inside of it? Any concerns about swirl marks being introduced?

I have the same cover in Satin Red. OEM GM cover MSRP $410.00 usually find them on sale for about $385.00. The OEM cover in post #1 and mine have a nice soft flannel type material. The cover will protect the panels from minor bumps or bruises.
There are few vendors selling a cover now in matching body color for $215.00 but it appears to be much thinner as in some of the photos, you can see thru the cover. Still a nice cover of the $215 when used inside/indoors.

Those are a couple of great looking covers.
