Like I said I have a guy in Sarasota who was recommended by my corvette club. He did a great job on my C7 and I’ve seen his work on lambo’s, porsche’s, a Bentley & an Aston Martin.

The car on the right looks like it is smoothered with brake dust. On the left this vehicle always looks bright and shiny. I’ll stick with the bright and shiny. The brake dust look will be a passing pad. When have they first started using chrome on autos?...the 40’s?, 50’s? Brake dust will not be around in 2090.

Today I finished my application of cquartz ceramic coating. I'm very happy with the results. I did the clay bar treatment, followed by a thorough polishing and several wipe downs with 50/50 water/alcohol mixture. The weather was cool in Florida, so I had plenty of time to wipe off excess after applying the coating. I have enough product left to do the wheels, but will wait until my muscles recoup a little.

On some colors the black wheels look ok... And some other colors the black doesn't look as good... Some colors with black wheels look kinda like a car that's had its hub caps stolen... Some colors may look better with grey wheels.

Hi everyone -- Beautiful rides all of you have!! Thanks for sharing pics.

Does anyone have a comparison on the LBR vs. Monterey Red Metallic (my 2007 Vert)? I'm in the process of getting one ordered and was more curious than anything. I lean towards darker reds like the MRM.

Sorry if I unintentionally hijacked the thread.

Did you look through every page in this thread? I believe there are some comparisons in there.

I’ve had both, 2007 Vert MRM and have a 2016 Vert LBR. IMO I love the on my 2016 LBR. My son owns my 2007 and even he likes the color on my 2016. Much more metallic on a 3016. Can’t beat the color.
Good luck, Jerry

I have a 2006 Monty and a 2016 LBR. The LBR is just slightly darker but with a little more metallic.
The 2006 is my daily.

Thanks, that was what I was thinking. MRM is beautiful but I suspect the LBR will become my favorite.

I like the chrome and black, but with all the black accents on the car I think the black wheels make the car pop and your eyes don't get hung on the chrome.

Default L b r on trucks

i just bought a 2018 stingray in Long Beach red. My brother purchased a new 2017 gmc truck in 2017. The color looks the same but his has a different name. Are corvette colors only on corvettes? Or do they share?

Long Beach Red is Corvette. Siren red is other GM vehicles and they are the same exact paint code.
