Bought a 2014 C7 3LT Z51, 12k miles Certified. But issues... =/
2014 C7 3LT Z51, 12k miles. CPO.
I have owned about 9 cars in my lifetime, I'm 28... Promised myself I'd never buy another GM product, yet the Corvette has always been my dream car. I've had a few issues with my GM cars in the past... Yet I bought this car for 57k, certified pre-owned, love it to death...
VIN: 1G1YM2D75E5111480
But the same day I bought it the infotainment screen starts going crazy, looks like a old tv. Looks like its a common issue with these cars though. So I have service scheduled on Monday to get it repaired. Hoping everything gets put back together properly! So not even a week into my purchase i'm going to be driving a loaner. Just hope to get it resolved because the car puts a huge smile on my face. Anything else I should look for? And btw not trying to bad mouth GM, i'm just frustrated I can't drive my new Vette on my first two days off!!!
Venting over, hopefully after I get it back there are zero issues, and many more smiles to be had!!! Also is there anyway to lookup the originally sticker or the options on the car?

congrats...I'm in the process of getting a 14 myself....I'll ask about the infotainment system now...prior to delivery.. Almost the same miles too,10900. Personally,I think it looks like a cheap video game..but at the end of the day,I don't care..all i want to do is drive the car the way it was meant to be driven.

Remember a used car is used and when you purchase it you will have to get the reason it was forsale out of it. Sometimes you will be lucky and no real issues will surface. There is such a thing as a lemon, the car will never stop having issues. Always be prepaired to replace the car if need be.

Only problem I have had is when I turn on the car, the radio would come on, and yes the radio was not on when I used the vette last.

I have an early 2014 (Serial #00767) and experienced this problem @6400 miles. Replaced display. Now have over 29,000 miles on the C7 and this has been the only issue. Love the car!

Are you sure the radio was off and not just muted? If you press the power button it only puts the infotainment system on mute. To turn it off you need to press and hold the power button for a few seconds. When it is off, the time/date screen will be displayed.

Thank you. I just learned something new.

Don't sweat the small stuff in life.
No worries....C7 is under warranty....GM & Chevrolet will make it right.
Enjoy the new ride.

Thank you everyone for the replies! Is 57k a fair price for a CPO with these options? And does anyone know if I can find a copy of the original window sticker? Or can I at least find out the original options?

corvette museum should have the window sticker/build sheet. If you're happy with the price, that's all that matters.Anyway, you already bought it so what's the difference?

You would have been better off pricing a 2016, perhaps a base Stingray at about the same you paid for the 2014 with 12,000 miles.
Looks like the C7 was also originally for sale at a Hyundai of Deland dealership then wound up at Coggin Chevrolet in Jacksonville.
Did you get a copy of the Carfax from the dealer to see the registration history of the vehicle? Carfax is state they have 19 reports on this C7 which is way to many. Something does not seem right!
Did you buy the car from Coggin Chevrolet?

If the Vin decoder is correct, you paid too much for the C7 as it is a 2014, 12,000 miles, 1 year warranty left. Looks like the 2014 Z51 had an original MSRP of $57,000 exactly what you paid. Not a good deal.

Sounds like a pretty good deal especially being CPO. I picked up a gently used 14, Z51 3lt for $61k w/ 3k miles last month (CPO). These cars were around $70k+ new depending on options. Mine still smells brand new, the 3lt it seems hangs onto that leather smell more due to all the leather on the dash and doors some say. I don't mind buying slightly used as it allows me to get more for my money. I was trying to order a 16 Z51 1lt w/ a couple options and I was at $60k. Got tired of waiting for allocation and bought used. So glad I did, got exactly what I wanted plus a lot more for the same amount of money. Just get the unit fixed and sleep well knowing you got a heck of a car with a lot of nice features for the price of a new base model.

Like another poster already stated, you bought it so you own it. So what difference does it make at this point?
Are you feeling "buyers remorse"?

I don't believe that the VIN decoder actually shows the options(and price) that are on each particular car, just the base price of the car, with zero options.
