Just go to Tire Rack and input you make and model and look for the Michelin All Seasons that come up as a fit. There are other choices but the Michelins have the best rating here on the forum by my reckoning.

Has anyone here installed the the three-piece drop in kit on a C7 vert with stock tires?

Opinions?

I just installed mine (took about 2 min) and the difference is night and day. Definitely recommend.

I have and it cuts down on the road noise significantly. Not perfect, but worth it.

Is it possible to install all or part of the kit *under* the original carpeting so that the original look was retained?

It is meant to go over the top. I bought a Lloyd cargo mat with a stingray logo for mine to go over the top.

The system is designed to be a super quick and easy install, so the mats go over the carpet. The mats have a textured black vinyl which actually looks nice. However I understand wanting to have the carpet showing so as some do and as Joemessman stated you can get a Lloyds mat to go over it.

Some of the C6 guys use to place the mats under the carpet in the cargo area and the behind the seats, and we knew it could be done.
However for the C7,we have not tried doing it under the cargo area (Not sure if you can). I know you can't put it under the carpet behind the seats because of the seat sensors are in the way.
However once the seat is back into position, you really can't see those mats.

(Pieces behind the seat)

I see in your provided pictures that 1 of the 3 pieces can be dropped right on top of the carpet in the cargo "trunk" area, but where do the other 2/3 pieces go?

Will be be out of sight?

Sorry, if this question was already answered, but I am under the impression that you have a 3 piece set AND an additional behind the seat set for "the next level of quiet"

Its a 3 piece system. 1 Cargo and one piece for behind each seat.
Look right above your post to post #72. It shows the 2 pieces that go behind the seat

Are you planning on being a vendor at the NCM Corvette Bash coming up this month? I'm sure several of us would like to check out your product first hand.

You can place it under the carpet in the cargo area.

As much as I would really like to attend the bash, unfortunately we will not be able to make it.

I know its a long way off, but we will be attending Carlisle this year.

Has anyone installed Blockit DeadMats under the factory carpet behind the seat area? I'm concerned placing it on the top of the "waterfall" will not allow the carpet to lay back down with uniformity like it did when the factory laid it thereby making the round (top) of the waterfall wavy & uneven.

+1 to this query. Can the drop-in Blockit mats be placed under the behind-seat carpet area as opposed to on top of it?

Your mentioning 2 products. So I'll explain them both..

The Blockit "Quick and quiet" is a 3 piece kit. All 3 pieces lay over/on top of the carpet. Not under it.

So the 2 pieces behind the seats can't bubble up the carpet.

Behind the seat, over the carpet.

Behind the seat, over the carpet, with the seat back..

If your looking to put the 2 seat mats from the Quick & Quiet system under the carpet, we don't recommend it because of the vertical sensors that are under the carpet.

However you mentioned DeadMats. That product is made to go under the carpet. That product is a cut, peel stick application.
The product is thin so no issue with puffing up the carpet.

Here it is installed.

Some other installs

Hope that helps
