Default With Credit Union program gone - can I somehow get "supplier pricing"

Has the C/U pricing all set, know that it is gone what about supplier pricing? I have a dealer that's says if I can find a way to get supplier pricing, they will absolutely honor it - otherwise I am looking at 2k or so off MSRP. So, what does it take to get supplier pricing, who do I need to l know? Is it transferable?

Thanks.

GM employees can give out Family and Friends authorization numbers, which are Supplier Pricing. They get to give out a lot of authorizations, I think up to 24 a year but am to lazy to go to the site to check. So if you have a distant relative or a long lost friend, there's your answer.

Just Google the bold phrase and you will be well on your way.

Email the big four dealers and you will get at least the same price as supplier pricing if not better! You will be able to order what you want and get it quick with the huge allocations. With the added savings by all means do the Museum Delivery it is awesome. Give Mike Furman at Criswell's a shot, number 1 corvette salesman.

Credit Union discount is not dead. You can still get 750.00 off. Need to join a Credit Union on GM's list.

You can get a friends and family code from a GM employee, a girl gave me one and I had a supplier code from work, not sure which they ended up using though

Even though my having access to 24
authorizations is off by just a little bit...

I'm one of those that can obtain an
Authorization NO. for Supplier Pricing:
It's quite the sizable discount!!

Did I double the number? I was thinking a multiple of 6 (GMS).

Anyways, it is a bunch.

What will the "new supplier pricing" amount to? About 7% off MSRP? It used to be about 9.1%, right?

It depended on the options on the car. Mine was fairly loaded and the discount came out to be 9.3%

I am still confused on the credit union discount. I have a certificate that was issued in April and expires in October. One dealer appears to be telling me I fall under the old cu program and one says I don't and I get the $750 off
But the bottom line is that both out the door offers fall between 6 and 7% below MSRP.

You can use it. This dealer is just not wanting to give it to you. I have many turn down employee pricing. And GM won't make them honor it either.

Spec out the car you want, call the big dealers with the allocations, and let them give you a price.... doesn't matter how they get to it... it's their job is to figure that out.

I went with Criswell, and they were very professional, got me the car I wanted, and gave me an honest price... and I expect most of the other big dealers pretty much have to be competitive or they will lose business.

Order a new Corvette from me at invoice, join a CU and get $750 in rebate and your net price is lower than supplier!

Does your invoice pricing include the dreaded two advertising costs?

Nearly every dealer has advertising costs added to their invoice by GM...but at varying levels. We do have advertising costs on our invoice but a lower percentage than many dealers.
