Finally got her - Thank You MacMulkin!
Hi everyone,
It seems like it was just yesterday that I was glued to my computer watching the reveal of the C7 and now I finally have one sitting in my garage!
I ordered my 2015 from MacMulkin and the car was delivered to them back in June, but due to work and a very ill family member, I wasn’t able to take the trip out to NH to pick her up until about a week ago. What a car and what a fantastic experience I had with the Corvette team at MacMulkin Chevrolet in Nashua, NH. They made the whole process from taking my initial order to delivery, seamless and pain free. They kept me up to date during the entire process and made the day of delivery very enjoyable (plus I finally got to meet Mark M. and Tommy Jr.), but the whole Corvette team (I think I spoke to most of them at one point in time over the phone, lol) are great guys who are friendly and have a passion for selling these cars. On top of the awesome experience dealing with the Corvette team, I got one heck of a deal on this car. I love the fact that the discount they gave me was the price I paid, and by that I mean there was absolutely zero extra fees added on (No BS dealer doc fees, temp plate fee, etc.). All their C7s are kept in a climate controlled garage, which is nice too. The whole second floor is nothing but Vettes! Any future Vettes or any friends of mine that are interested in getting a C7, will be sent to MacMulkin, for sure!
You can read and look at all the pictures you want, but like many have stated, once you drive the C7, you’re HOOKED! Im no stranger to Corvettes (I had 2 C5’s and a C6) and this Corvette just simply rocks! I kept my car simple: 1LT, A8, ZF1 package, NPP exhaust and Blade Silver racing stripes, thats it! I was torn whether or not to do the stripes, but Im sure glad I did, they make it pop. I went with the blade silver stripes cause I wanted to keep it on the subtle side (but then again, nothing about the C7 is subtle, lol). Love the base suspension. I have no intention of tracking the car and so far the ride is very comfortable, but she can still handle those twisties with ease. The A8 will take some time getting used to, but so far I really like it. Give the throttle a quick and healthy stab and she drops down real quick into a lower gear and books. This is my first car with the factory NPP exhaust and so far, I really like it. Thank God the AFM in this car was done so much better than the Camaros. I had a 2010 Camaro and when the AFM kicked in, it felt like you got rear ended or the motor was going to fall out of the car.
Thanks for listening. I cant thank all you folks enough for taking the time to post all your pictures, and info regarding the C7. I feel like I already knew so much about this car prior to getting it because of all the great info I read on here.
Here are some pics. Hope you like!
