Armor-All
Have not had this issue but do remember comment on the C6 venue that a number of those owners used to use Armor-All on the rubber over the roof panel and that took care of it.
As I recall, this "fix" lasted a few weeks/months(?). Merely re-apply for another period of time.
Sort of a PITA, but certainly a quicky fix.

Wave washers
Wondering if it's 4 wave washers that are placed under the 4 guide pins. When the top is snugged down, the pins fit into the recessed holes. This would allow the wave washers to compress against the rear frame as well as the windshield header, providing just enough tension to stop the roof creaking.

I just talked to my service manager yesterday about my extreme creaking and popping. I have tried silicon grease and adding two o-rings to the front posts to no avail. The only thing that makes it silent is pulling out the handles just a bit so there is no pressure. Then completely silent.
Took him for a ride to hear it all. He called GM and apparently they are working on a fix and I'll be the first one. Interesting that this washer thing didn't come up so will see what happens.....and will be interested in more info on this fix.

Have them drop the full up position of the windows.

See the attached diagram. The washers must be at 14 or 15. I suspect 14, as that would allow the handle 12 to move up and down a bit against the underside of bolt 13.

Still wondering if this "washer fix" applies to 2014. Make sure you have grommet/shim - #5 in the diagram. Mine was squashed out of shape.

Rear Clamp Noise
Mine was quiet up until this year about 2500 miles then it only made a slight noise when the car was cold.
I lubed the seals and tightened the rear clamp that stopped the noise, I do think most tops would stop making noise by tightening the rear clamp.
I would tighten the rear clamp before doing anything else, you do not need to remove the roof panel to tighten this clamp but you will need a small allen wrench 15/64 do not move the hook without turning out the allen screw.

Yes it does. I have even added a thick flat rubber washer on Pin 3 1st and then put the beveled washer #5 on. This created more pressure when latching the front latches. Made a little bit of difference but the creaking noise is not completely gone.

Thanks, good info. With my '08 C6 they replaced both from locking levers with a "new design" that was supposed to solve the problem. Did for a while! Mine is not very bad and currently solving it like road noise by having the radio play loud enough to mask it!
