Chevy, during the build, never does head on or straight back either. You lose all of the lines.

Every pic should show at least 2 sides. Side, and rear, or side and front, and ideally from a standing perspective.

Man.. 5 finger shoes and crappy car pics. There should be capital punishment.

Anyway, free tip of the day

I'm a professional DP (Directory of Photography in case that escapes you) and I've won four Emmys. Your little list of rules is absolutely absurd. Spoken like a true amateur who thinks he actually knows something. And if it also escapes you, your highness, the thread is about members' "favorite" pics....not necessarily their best. Duh.......

Now run along and go critique someone who thinks you're somebody.

Oh my a Professional DP'er! My lord! Why, I had no idea I would offend your "professional DP" sensibilities!

Note I did not feel a need to buttress my amazing wisdom with my credentials.. gross dude. Also, DP'ing is gross.

I said good day sir.

[edit] we are grown men.. my tips are intended to be helpful to those with, i guess, thicker skin.

Here ya go, ********.

Nothing wrong with the original pic, but a little cropping and adjustment of the levels help fit a horizontal object a bit better than in the vertical format in which two thirds of the image was sky and road. I mean, we are supposed to be focusing on the car, right?

This is how it's done, buddy.

And here are a couple more that pretty much invalidate your little "tips." Now go away.

I know. That’s what I get for using a Zeiss (German) lens on the camera.

Good edit, the nose section was too dark in his photo. I figured with all the tips he can give he would of helped out his own shot.

Default Wife's '14 C7, Crystal Red Clearcoat

For her 67th birthday, she wanted Z06 wheels put on her car. Not a bad wife of 42 years to have.
