Default GS/Z06 Body Colored Spats - Any Pictures and is it Easy Install?

My 2018 GS was built on 6/5 and will be arriving shortly.
I don't really like the look of the black plastic ones that come with the car.
Has anyone bough the RPI ones?
Pictures of the painted ones on the car?
I assume they are fairly easy to install - I am pretty handy.
My GS is Watkins Gray, so pictures in that color would be awesome.

I don't know about RPI's quality, but the install isn't bad. Getting the existing spats off could be a pain because they have tape across the top of them. Otherwise it's just a few screws then you push the edge up under the wheel well liner.

I bought mine from RPI in carbon flash and had my dealer install them - they are a major upgrade in looks to me. I could have installed them but just didn't want to mess anything up getting the old ones off. Dealer charged 1 hour labor and it solved the only visual thing on my car that made it look cheap ***.

I thought it was just me that thought the black dull plastic spats looked cheap.
Wouldn't mind having the selling dealer install, but they won't be shipped before I pick up the car, so that is not an option.
Those Carbon Flash ones look good.

Easy. Remove like 3 or 4 screws on each, start to pry away old spat, 2 sided tape was STRONG!! Hair dryer helps to soften up tape. And one 'Clip" on rear of spat pops out with a little force. Then new one on!! Total On and off in maybe 15 minutes each side.

The RPI spats in Watkins Glen Gray arrived this week and I installed them this morning - about 25 minutes total.
Attached are a couple of pictures - I also have the RPI splash guards in Carbon Flash (from my old C7) installed.
I like the look of the painted spats - not as good as an extended fender, but better than the cheap plastic.
Next up: replacing the break pads - the amount of dust that comes off the stock pads is insane. I am cleaning the wheels every 50 miles.

WOW,Likey,Likey.Got a front shot?.Huge improvement.
Now to make PERF. Gonna have to go to the front spoiler.Have that painted Carbon Flash or CF. Then the GM Splash guards have to go WGG Or CFlash to match side skirts
Splash guards set of 4:

Are these the RPI item # "C7 - 1096" that are $299.95?

Website says fit ZO6 only but assume they work on GS as well.

I think they would make a nice touch on my Blade Silver GS

Yup. Most exterior parts are good on both wide bodies.

Picture from the front.
I really like them compared to the textured black plastic ones.

I really do like the Carbon Fiber, Carbon Flash, and body color better.

But this still doesn't solve a bigger problem for me - the replacement spats still use the stock form and don't follow the radius all the way around the wheel opening.

This becomes even more pronounced for those of us who have installed the 'splash guards' in an attempt to prevent some stone chips. IMO, this is an even bigger issue with the spats.

If anyone knows of a solution that follows the radius all the way and incorporates the 'splash guard' effect, I'm in. The ones I've looked at follow the same pattern as stock. I get that it's a bit more complicated to incorporate the last 12 inches of the bottom/rear, but I'd accept a two piece solution that fit together perfectly too. Maybe I just haven't looked hard enough?

Just MO. Otherwise, I can't find a bad angle on these cars!

Just got my Carbon Flash spats installed a couple weeks ago(ordered from Corvette Mods) and I am 100% thrilled with how they look on the car. These spats perfectly match the front splitter, side skirts, spoiler and all the other CF trim pieces on the car. This is how the car should have come from the factory....thanks for the cheap plastic spats, GM!!!
