Hand Car Wash in Bowling Green?
Does anyone know where I can get a good hand car wash in B.G. We will be there next week for the NCM 21th Anniversary Celebration after we go to the Smokey Mountains. I need to get the vette cleans up for the festivities. I am willing to do it myself, but I am not sure how I could do that. (water hose) bucket etc.)

Yup ONR is great stuff, tske 5 MF'S with you and a waffle weave drying towel. Do a "Gary dean rinseless" - search you tube. Use the clean hotel room trash basket for a bucket.

There is a company there that will hand wash it for you. We had them at the Z06 fest several years.

Take exit #22 east off I-65 and drive past the Cracker Barrel and the La Quinta Inn and there is a self service car wash(new and clean) on the left(north side of the highway).
By the way, the La Quinta Inn is a great place to stay(rated #2 in Bowling Green) and the price is reasonable, and the Cracker Barrel next door(short walk) is a great place to eat(if you like comfort food, as I do).
I carry a couple of wash mitts we me(one new for the painted surfaces and one old for the wheels, etc) along with several old 100% cotton towels(and a plastic trash bag to put the wet items in after I'm through).

Check with the museum when you arrive. Every time I've been to an event like the bash, they'll have a place with a hose (and some really good soap sold there). Sometimes it's near the loading dock. Sometimes any other point available around the museum or back driveways. Bring lot's of towels to dry with.

If you stay at the University Plaza Holiday Inn...there is a hose and bucket around the back of the conference center that you can use anytime to wash your vette....just bring some car wash and microfiber cloths - and some detailer.

Off of exit 22 (west off of I-65) there is a full service car wash on the right hand side (north) of the street. I believe it is called Water Works. Long tan building. I always stop there when I am in town and they do a hand car wash for $25. Scrub the wheels and everything. Nice folks and very respectful of the Vettes.

The Hyatt Place in BG opened up in June and it fabulous. It's not next to NCM, it's on the campus. It's great though. I stayed there twice... buyer's tour and R8C.
