I thought so. I mentioned to a few people at the track that if they didn't like that race I could run him again power adder vs power adder. His boost vs my spray.
None seemed interested lol

rough estimates show most tune/intake/headers A8 stingrays trap around 125mph and the hellcats are around 125-128mph from what I have seen. From a roll he may have gotten ya but who cares both are awesome cars.

It's just like a Dyno, all tracks are different and air can be different etc.
From a roll? That's why I race at a drag strip lol

No offense but had it been a hellcat with the A8 and a decent driver you would have no chance at beating him. Not to mention drag radials and he can run high tens.

Why would that offend me?
A car with 200+ more hp usually wins lol
I could run faster on drag radials too, we were both on stock tires.

Great race. A bit of that juice you're gonna be using, and it won't be so close anymore
Looked like a lot of fun though.

Way to represent all of us TPW 2/16 members! Looks like you are really enjoying the car. Nice run - congrats on spanking that Hellcat.

the hellcat is the faster car. but problem is that it has to much power for most to handle.

I'm hoping some show up to the 1/2 mile event in September. We see a ton of them around here, always doing 35 in a 45 in the left lane.
If they do a Trackhawk, as they say they have shown dealers I'd be all over one.
That all being said the C7 has an amazing amount of traction on such a tiny tire. The A8 really makes good use of it.
Now just imagine how much faster you could have been if you had one of those 170 degree t-stats

good job, but it was all off the line, would've obviously been very close or perhaps the other way if you hadn't jumped him so badly
