Default 60 Second Underhood Power Disconnect (pic)

Much simpler/faster than accessing the battery.
Pull back hinged cover, remove terminal nut/cables.
Great for steering wheel replacements, etc.

Jake, I would recommend you add the info that if you are going to remove this nut, to do so with an impact (air powered or battery powered) and not use a wrench or ratchet. Several people including myself have snapped off the plastic mount underneath the lug by trying to use a wrench. The nut on some C7's were installed by bigfoot..

3/8 drive ratchet...no issues...same used on the steering wheel nut

As I said before, not everyone will have the same luck as you. Some are put on MUCH tighter.
