Default What feature would you like to see that is currently not offered?

Don't get me wrong the C7 has an amazing array of standard features and options we can add to this awesome vehicle.

However, if you can add one feature than is not currently offered what would it be?

For me, it would be auto folding mirrors. I have this feature on one of my cars and I love it. Why do I love this feature? When I lock that car the mirrors fold, when I unlock the unfold.

To have the mirrors tucked in out of the way when it's in the garage or in a parking space it makes it easier to get by the car with having someone bumped into them. And it looks cool when they fold and unfold!

Personal experience, my previous car (an Acura) was parked outside a restaurant when I returned to my car the mirror was broken. My guess is someone who passed between my car and the other parked car ran into my mirror got pissed and smashed it with their fist.

Folding mirrors would be nice, but I would prefer Blind Spot Detection in the mirrors. Ambient lighting would also be nice as would a 360 degree camera.

I would also like the option for a real premium stereo (i.e. not Bose). I'm still in the honeymoon stage with my C7, so it is hard to think of new features coming from a C5.

how about a nice horsepower bump, the last "base" Corvettes were within 55-75 bhp of the Z06, now it's 200, I think Stingray owners got the shaft in the bhp department. Also a decent crisp, clear stereo or an infotainment system that isn't so tied into the rest of the car's systems.

For me definitely power folding mirrors, as I have to get out of the car to fold in the passenger mirror when I go into my garage. I also would like to see a heated steering wheel. Had one on an 08 BMW and thought it was the greatest feature on a cold morning. One more- seat extenders that extend the seating area forward to provide additional support for your lower thigh by the knee-again had that on a 95 BMW and loved it.

I would love to see seat bottoms with adjustable side bolsters.
I would also love to see the speed limit data displayed in the HUD.
A DC port on the mirror so that we can plug in Radar Detectors.

With the visibility so bad, how about blind spot warning?

Better resolution for the rear camera. Another thing that would be nice is a larger center multi function screen. Some presentations are sandwiched on the small screen compromising clearity/readability.

better rear camera
proximity sensors
auto wipers

I know they're lame desires, but I feel the car should have them.

C7 of Year Finalist (performance mods) 2019

Default

Power folding mirrors
Rain sensors wipers
Ambient cabin lighting
Stereo equalizer ( better head unit in general)
Adjustable side bolsters on bottom of seat
Seatbelt retainer on seat that actually holds the seat belt!
Blind spot warning
Front and rear proximity sensors
Signal indicators on mirrors
Fog lights

I do realize that most of these items are excluded as part of weight saving, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't like to have them.

Folding mirrors would be a nice to have feature, however I'm surprised that blind spot monitors are not mandatory on all makes and models by now.

BTW - I know how to properly position my mirrors so I have no blind spot, however after having the blind spot monitors on my other vehicles, I like the feature and the added indicator when someone is passing you. Plus, there are obviously other drivers, including Corvette owners, who don't know how to properly position their side mirrors and every little bit helps to make the roads safer. I can't imagine an embossed LED light and wiring would weigh that much.

How about all season tires on Stingray? Keep summer only tires for those who want a car primarily for track purposes.....Z06 and maybe Z51 models for example.

Rain sensing wipers. Less glitchy sound system.
