Default Dust in rear view mirror

I have a 2lt and the rear view mirror has dust inside the glass.
It is visible when the sun is directly on it. Anyone else have this problem?

Haven't heard of this problem, but it sounds like something the warranty should cover.

I have what looks like a thumb print inside the rear view mirror glass of my 2015 3LT. Only visible in certain light conditions. Will probably get fixed under warranty on a service interval.

Same issue here. Specs/smudges behind the mirror glass.

If it's a defect in the mirror, might as well get it fixed under warranty.

can it be normal, perhaps something to do with auto dimming, I have a lot of little specs in there too, I don't pay any attention to it though, perhaps I will take a closer look.

I have what appears to be dust flecks in or on my rearview mirror. No matter what I do to try and clean it nothing has worked. Not a big deal but I might complain to my dealer the next time I take the car I for service.

I haven't noticed this in mine, but my visions isn't what it was when I was a kid. I'll have to take a closer look and see what I see.

I did a thorough cleaning of the inside windshield last Saturday and did it outside where I could see best. At the same time I noticed the 'dust' in my mirror as well. At first I thought it was residue from the micro fiber cloth but that wasn't it. Never seen anything similar on other vehicles. It hasn't really been noticeable in normal driving, but sure is odd.

Maybe related to the auto-dimming LCD?

Someone needs to start wearing cotton gloves. I have a huge Palm print inside mine when the sun hits it right. Almost wore out the glass trying to get it off until I realized it was on the inside.
