YES -- C6 Gumby Wheels Do Fit on C7 Z51
To Start here's some threads started back in March 2015 and Nov 2013 when some had these questions.
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ls-on-z51.html
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...a-base-c7.html
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...fit-on-c7.html
Since then I bought a C7 Z51 couple days ago and put my spare Gumby Wheels/tires on one side of the C7 to see if they'd fit, and to see how they looked.
And as the Title says, Yes they do fit right on, no interference, but with one little exception.
The wheel weights mounted on the Front C6 Gumby Wheel just Barely hit the outer diameter of the Brake Caliper.
Excluding the wheel weight by putting it in a different spot, or using thinner weights ...
these wheels are plug and play
FYI:
C7 19-20 Z51 wheels with Tires:
Front = 26" Diameter
Rear = 27" Diameter
C6 18-19 Gumby wheels with Tires
Front = 25" Diameter
Rear = 26" Diameter
Both the C6 Front and Rear Base tires and the C7 Z51 Front and Rear tires are the Same Width !
The offsets are perfect and wheels sit inside the Fenders just like the C7 Z51 wheels.
I did forget to actually measure to compare, but visually they did look the same.
In order for me to do a trial run I need to get the C6 TPMS replaced with 2016 TPMS because the 2016's are self learning.
Pictures for what it's worth

Looks incredible!!
disproves the long-standing myth that NO C6 wheels will fit on the C7

Thanks for that info. I always thought that everyone was wrong that said they would not fit. And I was considering them for a non-Z51 so they would even have more clearance in the front and no balance weight issues,
I also always loved the look of the Gumbies on my C6 and when I sold the C6 I had two sets of wheels, Gumbies and the Star wheels. Sold the C6 with the Gumbies and sold the Star's separately. Had I know this I may have sold the car with the Stars and kept the Gumbies for the C7. At least the wheels I ended up with on my C7 are even better than the Gumbies, in my opinion. But that came at a price.

Some will fit and some will Not.
There's a thread we discussed back in March where the 2008 C6 5 spoke wheels hit the Calipers with out using a minimal spacer but the 2009 Gumbys would have fit.
Usually the problem with different rims is they will not clear the Calipers, especially now on the C7's.
The 08 wheel spokes shoot out straight to the outer edge of the rim.
The Gumby spokes curve outward toward the outer edge of the rim and is why they have more clearance around the Calipers.
Also there's a member on here who mounted the GM accessories 15 Spoke Wheels on his Base C7 with no problem at all.
I always wanted to know if the Gumbys would fit the "Z51" C7 since they have the Bigger Brakes/Calipers up Front.
The Rear "Z51" Brakes/Calipers are the same as the Base C7 Brakes/Calipers so wasn't as much concern depending on which C6 wheels might fit.
Definitely more Tire choices with 18-19 wheels which is why I've been considering doing this and also improving the ride a little more.
Again, the total "tire" diameters on the 18-19 inch wheels is 1 inch smaller than the Z51 19-20 wheel "tire" diameters.
And I could be wrong but from what I've found so far, that will not affect the Speedometer reading vs actual Vehicle speed.
Time will tell when I actually get around to trying the Gumby wheels on the car

I don't think that is true. The tires for the C6 are the exact same tire sizes as the base C7. The tire diameters for the base C7 and the Z51 C7 are within 0.1 inch of each other. The wheels for the Z51 are an inch larger in diameter but the sidewall of the tires is an inch shorter than the base tires. Overall diameters between C7 base and Z51 tires are essentially the same.
actually it depends on which C6 wheel.
This is the "Star" wheel and I know that will not fit. All Gumbies are the same dimensions so all Gumbies should fit.
.
I always wanted to know if the Gumbys would fit the "Z51" C7 since they have the Bigger Brakes/Calipers up Front.
The only thing that is bigger on the Z51 is the front rotors, not the calipers or brakes. The Z51 calipers have extended mounting brackets to allow for the one inch larger diameter front rotor but the actual caliper is the same.

But in this case, I'm measuring my C6 OEM GS2 Good Year's against OEM C7 Z51 Michelin tires and Diameters vary a lot between tire Brands.
And with tires Labeled the same size, I've found the Michelin tire Diameters run bigger than the Good Years.
That difference will vary further when the wheels/tires are on the car and flatten a little on the bottom and flatten differently.
So I measured both the C6 and C7 51 wheel/tires while they were off the car standing on the floor and came up with 1" difference.
I admit it may not have been Exactly and inch but was surprised it was even close to an inch.
Years ago I put a second set of Gumby's on my C6 mounted with Michelin A/S tires Branded as the Same Size tire as the OEM GS2 Good Years.
And the Michelins had a noticeably Bigger diameter that the OEM Good Years but it was not as much as 1" difference.
And I measured both of them off the car standing on the floor also.
I'm guessing between the 2 different diameter rims and 2 different Brand of tires with Michelin tire diameters being bigger to start with, that's why I'm seeing such a difference.
Whatever the difference between these two different wheel diameters and tires Brand tire differences, I'll be putting Michelin tires on the Gumbys.
I think when that happens the difference in Diameters will be very close to the same
Will update when that time comes

I was only referring to Michelin tires. One tenth of an inch difference in diameter. Check out specs on TireRack.

My #16 post in that thread shows the difference in the outward curve of the Gumby wheel Spokes ( although they're on a C6 in the pics ) and why, at the time, I thought they might fit a C7.
On another note it would not take much of a spacer to make the Star wheels clear the Caliper.

Just sold my 2008 with the Gumby's today. The guy who bought it is taking them off and selling them (he wants black wheels). So there should be a set up for sale somewhere soon (he's in Texas, DFW).
