Default Skyline Drive

Took a ride to Skyline Drive yesterday. Met a nice couple, with I think he said a 86 Vette, at one of the lookouts. Also saw a C7 Vert coming the other way with a Go Pro, or some camera, on a pole taking shots. If any of you are familiar with US33 going from Harrisonburg, VA to WV you know what I had ahead of me. LOTS of curves going up and down. To my surprise I was able to go all the way without anyone in front of me to slow me down. Needless to say I was able to make good use of the paddle shifter.
If I do this right here are a few pictures of the trip.

Looks like a nice trip. Had planned to drive to Skyline in my LB 15 yesterday but my back went out and can't even get in the car. Nice to see what it would have looked like with the fall colors. Hope you got a few runs through the tunnel with some good burbles from the exhaust. :-) Thanks for sharing.

Along with a buddy in his coupe, I took my vert up on the Drive yesterday, too. Great place to take a cruise!

Looks great, Steve. We were thinking about going to Skyline yesterday but thought it would be too crowded.

We were up there a couple of weeks ago and caught the top two sections before having to head over to the interstate. We enjoyed the drive and the colors. Unfortunately, it was busier than we would have liked.

Lots of people in the parking/hiking spots but traffic wasn't too bad. How bad can it be if you can only go 35 mph? Too bad you guys didn't go we could have run into each other. Well not literally.

Not really, he was just getting out of the car when I snapped the pic. But that would be a BIG guy.

I thought he said it was 30 years older than mine, guess he meant 20.
