Default NCM insurance premium increases coming?

I just received an email about the NCM premiums possibly increasing at the next renewal. The message stated it would be all customers if it happened. Of course this does not make me happy as they insure my 14 Corvette, 2 hemi challengers and 2 Pontiac Trans Ams.

We all know prices only go up, never down. Hopefully if there are increases it will be minimal. Of course it will be time to compare pricing with other companies.

Hope that is not true. I did just renew mine with them back in July and if I recall correctly, my premium stayed the same from last year.

If it is true, whether I stay with them will depend on just how much an increase might be.

My 2015 was insured with them back in April 2015. A nominal increase is no problem-a 50% increase is.

Hey bear and others,

We were attempting to take a proactive approach with this as no other insurance that I am aware of will notify of an increase. In that email we gave several options that we can go over to help reduce the premium. It was our hope that the email we sent will give folks the option to look into their policy and reach out to us.

We have seen VERY FEW rate increases in the last 8 years we have been offering coverage.

It is best for the customer to contact us, review their policy and modify some items if needed.

Thanks!

I need to look into this... Considering how little I drive the (3000 miles maybe) I feel like I'm wasting money with GEICO.

1700 vs 750 is a big difference.

Curious how much they're going to jump?

11B250, if you don't have a policy with us then what we quote will be the current rates.

Thanks!

Thank you Adam for your kind phone call today. I appreciate you checking on my policy and letting me know there should be no premium increase. This is a prime example of the excellent service I have always received from Adam and his assistant Bobbie Jo!

Kudos to NCM!

green2000, as I pointed out above. Give us a call. Let's see what we can do to bring it down a little. We hate increases as much as you do!

A review of agreed value will probably offset the increase.

This is a follow up. I called and the only way to decrease the 15% increase was to lower coverage which I did.

So the short of it is apples-to-apples my rate went up 15%.

Correct. Less coverage costs less.
