My 16 Z51 Torch Red coupe is somewhere between the plant, and Phoenix. Built on Oct 27th. Five weeks to the day from order to production. Know it has to move from KY to Ohio for rail pick-up. Should have in a couple weeks. Photos when it arrives.

Oh, also has black machine faced wheels, M7, 3LT Kalahari and a few other goodies. Getting a little excited....

QUESTION - I've owned two C6's. Exhaust configuration under the cargo area, vs. the C5, generated a lot of heat. Added extra insulation, and problem was reduced.

Assuming the C7 cargo area heat will be the same as the C6, since the exhaust configuration is the same.

Any opinions?

By the way, thanks to all of you on the Forum for answering a lot of C7 questions before I've even received the car!!

That's going to be a sharp ride!

I haven't noticed excessive heat back there. I insulated, but it was for sound, not heat. I've noticed the center console and cubby behind the screen get warm.

Thanks, Rooster. Forgot to ask about the center console. You could slow cook meat in the C6 center console. I added insulation there, too, which helped.

Being new, didn't think about the cubby behind screen.
