Default Inner fender panel cleaning

This new material on the inner fenders is quite different. My guess is better sound proofing. Just wondering what people are using to clean these areas. maybe wrong section Anyway

just a brush and some good car wash soap. It's actually like artificial turf, and many cars are using it today.

If you don't want to take the wheel off, a bendable Daytona speedmaster brush will get it done, from autogeek, amazon, etc

But a better deal is the wheels come off once or twice a year, thenwheels iron decon'd, then sealed, and the inner liner washed. YMMV depending on your usage of the car..

I use a wheel spoke brush to sneak in around the tire and brush the liners with a soapy solution, then hose off.

I use the round one seen below and it works great. Hospital supply stores should have them.

I have the same type of material on my '15 Impala. I just use some car wash soap and a hose and the area stays pretty clean.

A drive in the rain will clean the fender liner to acceptable limits. Otherwise I don't worry about it.

Dirt seems to rinse off easily, but I have found that a few things, like pine needles, get caught up in the fabric and just don't seem to want to fall off!

This is the same stuff that's on the fender wells on my 5-year-old, 100k-mile Mini Cooper and it is very easy to keep clean - easier than the plain plastic ones on my C5.

I got road tar on the fender wells....picking it off seems unlikely. ...will tar remover do the job?
