Took delivery 2 weeks ago and have been so busy, I still haven't had a chance to clean out my car.
I've learned that, with an M7, you must be an idiot to leave sunglasses and your phone on top of the center console. Even dumber is having a beverage in the car. Yes, I can avoid AFM, but no, I cannot drive with coffee without drinking half of it first.
Phone goes into the center spot with the USB ports. Sunglasses go behind the screen
BTW - the iphone6+, with a thin skin, fit perfectly flush into the cup holder. This was nice to discover until I found the perfect cell phone holder.
What I'm curious about:
- The door storage, what do you stick in there?
- the trunk cubby, what do you stick in there?
My discoveries:
- That iphone6+ thing in the cup holder
- Groceries, with wine bottles stay put in the back using the net. Just push the trunk down on top of the groceries so that the mesh shade stretches over everything. I, um, turned off traction control for experimentation, having forgotten about the wine in the back. No problems
Boring topic I know, boring day at work too.

Has worked for two years in 1 "g" turns and > 1 "g" stops!
In the rear I carry four 2" high jacking pads that allow jacking and clear my CF side skirts. Need for dealers or a tire shop. Also carry a tire plug kit and if needed for a long trip it will hold a small air pump (keep that in the wife's SUV as that is what we take on trips.) Also have some black stick-on weights after someone said they had their black wheels balanced and silver colored weights were used. Can't expect dealers/tire shops to have black weights. Have a small tool kit and my McGard wheel lock key as well. The rear holds a lot of stuff

I keep nothing in my car(s). the glove box is empty, as is the rear compartments. Food and drink, not in my cars.

Mine's a DD, so the door pocket holds an umbrella, and the rear compartment holds jumper cables, first aid kit, microfiber towel and a few simple tools.
Sunglasses stow behind the infotainment screen. Phone stays in my pocket unless I need it for nav, then it goes on the powerport door with a Kenu clip.

I have the recv/xmtr for my UHF radio in there.
I have touch-up paint in there.
I have detailer in there.
I have 3 microfiber towels in there.
I have a cover used at shows that hides the ABS valve and tubing in there.
I have a detailing brush in there.
There's still room for more.
The door cubby holes are empty because stuff in there looks trashy.
The space behind the NAV screen has:
Head Unit for tuning and controlling my UHF radio
Badge credentials to my FOP shooting range.
7 round magazines (2) for my .45 Kimber

I have a holster attached under the steering column that holds my Kimber while I drive for any length of time. Short trips to the store and it stays in my body holster. This is Florida. We're not stupid about guns like some other States.
